1363 Applications of Psychophysics
A. Schwaninger & M. Menozzi
Thursday 12-14 KOL-H-309

Description
Psychophysics provides an interdisciplinary applied inventory of measuring methods for data collection and scaling. In this lecture selected methods of psychophysics will be illustrated exemplarily (signal detection theory, measurement of thresholds, scaling, etc.). It will be pointed out how they are established in applied research, paricularly in fields of human factors and airport security. This lecture is part of Ergänzungs- and Vertiefungsstudium of general psychology. Students have the possibility to present selected articles which can be credited as Kleine Arbeit. The lecture starts in the third week of the semester.
